Sometimes I just want to yell out to myself, “PICK A LANE!”

One thing I know if I suffer from is “shiny object syndrome”. There are always new things to look into and more problems in life around me to solve. It is a perpetual motion to and from topic to topic. I find it hard to disrupt that pattern sometimes, because I have found that when I am unfocused and spend time on “everything”, I end up solving nothing.

The reason I mention this is because I have been spreading myself too thin trying to get our Snail Mail services “out there”. I have been unfocused and inconsistent. Because of that, I am getting the results one should logically expect for that. It’s a simple cause and effect.

I can do better.

I will do better.

Maybe you’re in the same boat?

Maybe you’re thinking there are so many problems here in Canada and you don’t know which way to turn. It almost feels like a deliberate strategy that the ‘powers that be’ are brining so many challenges on Canadians, and I’m not sure about you, but I find it demoralizing just to think what I should personally do about it.

Here’s my challenge to you: start with just one topic. Ignore the rest. Pick your battles. Once you see some traction there, you should give yourself permission to move on to the next battle. But you can’t win a war with a battle on all fronts. Start with one battle. That’s my plan.

What’s your battle going to be?
